This is the Hyundai i30 hatchback, the sibling model of the Kia ceed.
It has been on sale in Europe since the beginning of 2017.
After a couple of yoears on the market, Hyundai is going to give it a mid-cycle facelift.
There are no details about the car’s official date of unveiling at this point, but we believe the South Korean carmaker could officially unveil the i30 facelift at this year’s Frankfurt auto show, which opens its doors this September.
What are the main changes?
It appears that the i30 facelift will receive quite a significant styling upgrade with major changes being done up front and rear. The vehicle will gain a revised signature grille and newly styled LED headlights. Back at rear you can expect to see a new set of tail-lamps and restyled bumper.
Inside, the refreshed i30 will benefit from a larger navigation display on the dashboard, as well as some other subtle tweaks.
There are no reports about the engine upgrades, but we believe that Hyundai will make available the rumored PHEV (plug-in hybrid) powertrain.
