2024 Kia sales highlights
Kia’s August 2024 sales were driven by the carmaker’s highly attractive line-up of SUVs and crossovers, with sales increasing no less than 9% year-over-year.
The Sportage compact SUV, Telluride large SUV and Seltos crossover all set their best-ever May sales, up 17%, 29% and 39%, respectively, over each model’s previous May record-setting (set in 2021).
In addition, the just-recently refreshed Seltos compact crossover set an all-time monthly sales record with sales up 15-percent over the previous best-ever monthly sales performance set by the model in March 2021.
Sales of electrified Kia vehicles also set a new monthly sales record in May 2023. Sales of the all-electric Kia EV6 for example increased 7% over the same month a year ago.
