How much does the new Kia K5 cost?
Kia essentially began life as a brand known for delivering affordable vehicles, and while that is still the case, they have grown in leaps and bounds in the design and performance categories.
With each new model release, their vehicles seem to be getting better and better, while still providing an incredible value proposition for consumers.
That looks set to continue with the release of the 2022 Kia K5 in US, which is coming at an amazingly affordable starting MSRP.
Let’s take a closer look at the 2022 Kia K5 prices in U.S. and available trim levels in the US-market.

Last year, the K5 LX with FWD came in at $23,950 and that has not changed much for the 2022 model, which has a starting price of just $100 more.
That level of affordability continues all way up the line, starting with the 2022 Kia K5 LXS FWD price starting at $24.690 (just $1,000 more than the base model).
If you’d prefer the 2022 K5 LXS with AWD, then you are looking at a starting price of $26,490.
2022 Kia K5 GT-Line (FWD or AWD) MSRP
Next up is the 2022 K5 GT-Line with the MSRP of $26,090 for the FWD model and $27,960 for the AWD variant.
The Kia K5 EX trim level is only available as an FWD model and comes with a starting price of $28,590.
Sitting at the top of the range is the 2022 Kia K5 GT which costs $31,090. This is still ridiculously affordable for a model sitting at the top of the K5 range.
Engine specs & horsepower
As far as engines go, all of the trim levels, minus the GT, come equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo unit that cranks out 180 HP and 195-lb.-ft. of torque and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The range topping Kia K5 GT comes with a more powerful 2.5-liter turbo engine that produces 290 HP and 311 lb.-ft. of torque. That unit is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
