Teaser images of the all-new Kia Carens MPV have been released ahead of the vehicle’s Paris Motor Show premiere!
Just a couple of days after showing the first official teaser shots of the all-new 2014 Forte compact sedan, Kia has released these images of the next-generation Kia Carens MPV. With these latest image renderings, Kia has given us a very clear glimpse of the new Carens’ front and rear fascias.
The carmker’s latest compact MPV has been designed around a “dynamic space” theme which combines the striking looks with the functionality of a compact MPV. As evident from the early image renderings, the new Carens borrows many of its styling cues from the popular Kia cee’d hatchback.
Kia says that the completely redesigned Carens MPV will not only gain a fresh new look, but also a longer wheel-base, lower roofline and larger wheels with dimensions of up to 18-inch! The new model will be offered with both five and seven-seat configurations.
None of its mechanical content has been disclosed as of yet, though we suspect the new Kia Carens will share its powertrain technology with the new cee’d and Kia Forte.
More details about the all-new Kia Carens MPV will be released on the openning day of the 2012 Paris Auto Show on September 27! Stay tuned!

would this be consider the Rondo if it was still for sale in the US?
This is a Quoris Station Wagon people. Pure and simple not rocket science.
Could be Rondo, but latest rumors suggest that the new Rondo/Sedona replacement will have some styling elements seen on the KV-7 concept. As you can see the new Carens looks more like the new Kia cee’d than the KV-7 concept.
