The only thing we haven’t seen yet is the interior lay-out of a production Cadenza / K7. I bet it won’t take us long before we get those pics, so stay tuned for more reports on Kia’s new stylish sedan! [Source: bobaedream / VGclub.net ]

Looks MUCH better in these shots. I knew the low quality of the first photos was the reason the car looked bland.

  2. Nick says:

Not that these shots are “high quality” per se, it’s just that color of the car and the background in these shots, as opposed to bland silver, a stark white background and strange angles for press shots served to make the car look less attractive than it really is.

I’m perplexed as to why this is sporting the export market/old style Kia badge. Where is the circular one? I must say, however, that the traditional badge looks much better. The chrome bar at the rear looks out of place though~

  4. Greg says:

These real world photos help out it’s looks a lot. The rear end is AWESOME!

  5. BJD (Boris) says:

the chrome strip on the rear bumper looks good on black (and essentially on other dark colors). and the car looks good from the back. Real Good! and thats the end you will most probably be seeing when you spot it on the road. but If its spotted in your car’s mirror, well, its grille isn’t much to look at and reminds me of the goofy mazda3 grille. lights and fog lamps look impressive too.

PS: I really love that pic which shows the white car’s side profile in the shade of a tree.

This car looks AMAZING! I love it in the silver. Does any one know if it will come to the UK? It has too it will give those German car makers a thing or two to worry about!

Loving the LEDs headlamps og Kia CadenzA/K7!!

  8. Martin1491 says:

That rear end sure looks like an Audi! In a good way though. Dark colours suit the car better I think. The ceiling mounted centre brake light is really nice too, just like the European cars.

  9. conwelpic says:

there has been some conflict as to whether this is actually the Amanti replacement, but according to KIA’s production figures, they stopped production of the Amanti in August.

  10. BJD (Boris) says:

    Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick

  13. Kid Icarus says:

This vehicle (VG) is replacing the Amanti AND Optima in the US market with a possible future higher end Amanti replacement code named CH

  14. Greg says:

Okay. Are you totally out of your mind? We have already seen a test mule for a 2011 Optima. You are correct about the CH, though.

  15. Greg says:

Hey conwelpic, here do you find those production figures?

  16. Nick says:

interior pics on clubvg.net and vg-club.net, but I cant access those sites. why do Korean forums require a social security number to sign up?

  17. conwelpic says:

Greg – KIA Motors main site (but you have to do some searching)

  18. Derrick G says:

    Patrick,

The round badge wasn’t a Kia badge, but an Opirus badge.

    KiaKrazy,

From everything I’ve read it won’t be coming to the UK.

  19. Kyle says:

So, I looked at these pictures and compared it to the first concept they released in Seoul Motor Show:

    http://www.thekeea.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/knd-53.jpg

This is actually a car where it’s production model looks BETTER than the concept ones (and there aren’t too many of them) but…. Why couldn’t they keep the grille? I mean, It looked so special not mentioning aesthetic.

  20. JoshyLofty says:

i LOVE everything about this sexy car EXCEPT the name. I wish we had K7 or sumthing like that. 🙁 we could have an all alpha-numeric lineup and leave the Soul &/or the SUVs with their names. Mercedes uses that method, C300, S550, R350. & then saves the alpha names for their specialty cars. Soul would be a specialty car for Kia. Probably the Koup as well. @ the moment. Mercedes used McLaren for the McLaren project, They’ll bring back Gullwing soon, obviously. Even sho it will be called the SLS Gullwing officially. then Mazda has their numeric naming with the exception to the Tribute (soon to be dead) and the Miata. which is officially called the MX5-Miata. Just saying…. a NAME says a LOT. and the cars i just mentioned are now iconic.

  21. Scott says:

Boris you are correct, according to Kia public relations it will be at the Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Dubai motor shows.

  22. Bryan says:

Similar for me, like the car, not the name, boys.

  23. KiaKrazy says:

Any other Brit’s recon wes hould start a campagne to get this car to the UK!

  24. claudio teloken says:

I`m living in Brazil. I`mwonder if I can by a Cadenza and do adaptations like the K7 regarding the tires, to become mor sport.
    thanks
