Over the years, we have spoken to a lot of Kia owners, and one of the things that we have discovered is that people tend to become very loyal to the brand.
Adam Perez, a 39-year-old optometrist from Fort Worth, Texas, is a shining example of that, as his Caribbean Blue 2019 Kia Soul+ is the third Kia model that he has owned.
Previously, Adam has a 2002 Sephia and a 2008 Kia Sorento, as well as seeing his parents drive a pair of Kia Spectra’s. Adam decided to make the switch to the Soul after being wowed by its personality and drivability.
He has found that his Kia Soul gets a lot of attention from family, friends, and random people that he meets when out and about. While many folks comment on the cool blue color of his vehicle, which is actually an upgrade option and quite unique, other comment on the overall look of the Soul, both inside and out.
It would appear that Adam is keen to keep the Kia family tradition alive, as this single father plans on handing this model down to his daughter once it is paid off.

Kia Soul owner interview (Q&A)
1. Please, tell us something about your Kia Soul ownership experience so far?
I love my Soul+. It has so much room, its very deceiving! 3 layers in the back cargo area.
2. How long have you owned your ride?
I bought my Soul+ just over a month ago. I’ve already put on over 1200 miles!! I just love driving it!
3. Honestly, what was your intention when you bought your Kia?
My previous Kia Sorento, which I also bought brand new in 2008, was starting to have issues. It was costing more to up keep, than it was worth. So I was looking to upgrade my daily driver, and have a car ready to hand down to my daughter for HS in 5-6 years.
4. What do you like the most about the Soul?
The drive, and personality the car has. Also, I love that I fit in the car. I’m a big guy, 6’1” 280 lbs!!
5. What do other people say about your car?
Everyone seems to love it. I see a lot of people look at it in the parking lots, and family members all like to sit in it, and see how nice the interior is.
6. What is it that makes your ride look unique?
We have an Caribbean Blue paint job on ours, which apparently is an upgrade option. I don’t see many Souls around with that color.
7. What Kia accessories have you installed so far (if any) / do you have any future plans?
Blue USB lightning cord for iPhone, lol!! Would like to add ¾” wheel spacers, a center speaker, and sub.
