New Kia Sedona receives the “Best Reviewed” award in the Budget Minivan category!
It seems like its awards season in the car world, with new prizes and plaudits being handed out on a daily basis.
It also appears that every time those awards are announced, one or more of Kia’s line-up manages to make it onto the winner’s podium.
The latest Kia model to be shown some love was the 2011 Sedona, which received the “Best Reviewed” accolade in the Budget Minivan category from the good folks over at ConsumerSearch.com.
The items that tipped the award in Kia’s favor were the warranty, safety features, handling and interior design.
ConsumerSearch.com arrives at its decision by compiling the reviews of experts as well as those who own or have driven the vehicle in question.
Those reviews are rated by credibility, comparison against other similar reviews, and other review factors in order to arrive at the final result.

The Kia Sedona van has been around for a while, but the 2011 edition gets a slight makeover, with the new grille being the most noticeable change.
A more powerful V6 engine is now under the hood, and there is only one engine option available; a 3.5L unit that generates 271-horsepower.
The V6 engine is coupled with Kia’s in-house developed six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is very good for a minivan with the 2011 Sedona getting 25 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined.
Safety, as always, is standard, and besides the standard antilock brakes and stability control, the Sedona comes equipped with front and side air-bags up front, and side curtain air-bags for all three rows of seats.
New Kia Sedona comes in two models, the LX which starts at $24.595, and the EX at $29.195 (U.S.).
